Let's make this a community effort!
One Birth really operates around community interaction and involvement. We are continuously evaluating our program through community feedback to ensure that our services are running efficiently and are also appropriate to community needs. So, we love for everyone to get involved and here's how:
Childcare:
One Birth has groups meeting often and in order to have all families involved that wish to, we often need childcare providers. Most of the time it is only for an hour and who can pass up playing for a whole hour?!
Pro Bono Doulas:
One Birth can always use more doulas that are able to attend births at a pro bono rate for our Doulas for All Program. We love having a large and diverse group of personalities so that we can make sure all families feel they connect with their doula.
Donations:
One Birth wishes to provide new little lives with a welcome basket full of goodies, so all newborn items are welcome. We also really appreciate book donations to give siblings of the new baby, to make sure they feel included in the new addition to their family.
Volunteer time:
One Birth can find anyother volunteer opportunity that fits your personality. Just call and we will figure it out!
